Toad Lickers Film Club are teaming up with Hospitable Environment’s The People’s Picturehouse to bring you a screening of Paul Wright’s Arcadia.

A visual collage of archive footage becomes a psychedelic journey through rural England, with a new score by Adrian Utley (Portishead) and Will Gregory (Goldfrapp) .

This screening will be preceded by ‘Puritanical Ghosts and the False Idyl of Cottage Core’, a talk by Toad Lickers Collective exploring how Britain’s ideological past has resulted in a strained relationship to nature, manifesting as micro-trends on social media. Cottage core inspired refreshments will be provided by Hospitable Environment.
