1.Toad Lickers Collective CIC (TLC)

2.Submission process and price

2.1 The price to submit is £10 which equals entry for one piece of work. You can buy up to three entries equalling three pieces of work which can be submitted on the same entry form. After 3 works, any other submitted works will not be considered.

2.2 Payments will be handled by buying a submission ‘ticket’ via Ticket Tailor. The code received after purchase must be included on the submission form for the submission to be valid.

2.3 Submission fees are non-refundable

2.4 TLC does not gather or retain any payment information from submissions

2.5 Submission fees cover an administration fee. As a CIC any funds raised cover administration costs for the exhibition and are put back into programme aimed at diversity and inclusion including public programmes to accompany the exhibition

2.6 Once the submission fee has been paid, to submit you must correctly fill out the appropriate submission form. Submission forms must be linked to a valid entry fee ticket which you will be asked for.

2.7 Submission fees do not guarantee a place in the exhibition.

3. Entry and ownership

3.1 You may enter Toad Lickers Collective open calls if you are the artist or creator of the work or have express permission as representative of the artist to submit on their behalf.

3.2 All works given over to the exhibition are done so at the artist’s own risk.

4. Delivering and collecting work

4.1 If successful, artists must deliver their submitted artwork to the Marine Workshops in Newhaven in person and signed over on either Friday 21 or Saturday 22 March 2025. These dates are subject to change at the discretion of TLC.

4.2 Artists must collect their artwork on Sunday 13 April at times specified in correspondence by TLC. This date is subject to change at the discretion of TLC.

5. Sales

5.1 Successful artists can choose whether their work is for sale at the exhibition.

5.2 All artwork sales will be handled by Toad Lickers Collective at point of purchase. A 20% administration fee will be deducted from any works sold. Sale funds will be transferred to the artist after the exhibition.

5.3 Any artwork sold during the exhibition must remain in the exhibition for the duration and be picked up from the exhibition location on the date agreed and point of sale. Unclaimed artworks will be returned to artists.

5.4 All artwork sales are final.

5.5 It is the responsibility of artists to ensure their sold artworks reach the buyer. If you sell artwork you agree to have your contact details passed on to broker delivery. Buyers can collect their purchase from the Marine Workshops at the end of the exhibition. If not collected, artists must collect and deliver the artwork to the buyer.

6. Media features

6.1 By submitting your artwork you are agreeing for it to feature in photographs videos and other media which will may be shared publicly across social media, press and other promotional platforms if featured in the exhibition
